actually since the first time Sukeyo saw him, she was infatuated, it is understandable that with all the years passed and her increasing hate to Izana that she would fell in love (or at least think she has) with Kaidou
When did she say she hated Izana or started to hate? Because it really doesn't seem so. Either I'm not reading it with enough detail or they have not detailed any interaction between the actual Sukeyo Fuchi and Kaidou.
It still feels a bit left field.
I feel like actual Sukeyo Fuchi decided to keep on being an actress because she fell in love at first sight with Kaidou. At their first encounter, she blushes, she can't look at him in the eye, etc...There are no signs of Sukeyo clearly hating Izana so far. But you can see some resentment at their wedding. Sukeyo is hidden by her mask and looks quite gloomy. Furthermore, witnessing someone stealing your face and surpassing you in the process...is meant to bring you some damage in the end. Even someone kind-hearted like Sukeyo. Maybe she was just waiting for her hour
Well she fell in love with Nagi Kaido first, then the older brother whom Sukeyo loves(?)
Hang on a nanosecond: I can understand Izana falling in love with Kaidou, but how did Sukeyo Fuchi herself fall in love with him? That felt like a curveball!
