Spoiler on that: Senpai dies in the end and Morinaga waits near his grave until he dies of old age, which means that since he's a bear, he waits by that grave for 20+ years.

that or he just slowly starves himself to death by sitting there and not moving.... which is kinda the idea I got from that ;_; Either way it's sad.....
