I agree, don't understand the reason for the amount of dislikes. People say all kinds of things to get sex, super easy for them to say yeah I love you. No point asking if you aren't sure if the person loves you or not. If they're a good person then the answer could be no which is awkward = no sex; if they are not then they probably say what you want to hear = sex.
Well don't ask it prior either as it won't be the first time that someone says they love you just to get into your pants.

Exactly what I was thinking. And as for the guy who was asking, he has been very confused and his thoughts had not caught up with him yet. It is easy to say he should have asked before or after, but when a person is confused, they are not thinking straight.
