Damn it! Make the second couple its own thing, so I can rate it separately! The first story is awful, it's badly paced and there's nothing interesting or arousing in it - it has a "plot twist" which sure, yeah, that changes a perspective, but it doesn't actually change any of the meaning anything has had. Still rape, still disgusting.
The second story though - I can see that being a serial or other stories being inspired by it. It's so interesting and genuinely cute! Self-image worries, how men view themselves, dealing with feelings towards your crush, learning to love yourself, these are all great themes that are criminally lacking in most yaoi! I'd love another story in the same vein, that has more time and better pacing, but with equally in-love characters. It was actually good!

Totally respect that my dude - it is unfortunate that somehow the same artist made a POS and a diamond in the same manga. If you ever give it a go again, the second couple is honestly exceptional, and if not, I don't blame ya in the least
