Yea but clearly there was no foundation for the two's relationship in the beginning. The misunderstandings and fighting are prime examples of this "bad" relationship that needs to be worked out if they love each other. Its supposed to not only represent how bad the relationship is because there was no foundation(it was a business arranged marriage and got married practically when they met), The crying and yelling isn't representative of strength but crying isn't weakness, although it is often portrayed that way. Her crying and dealing with the shit she has to deal with is what's strong about her character. She has suffered and always put others before herself; she never really gave up and just cried and dealt with it. If that's not strong character, Idk what is.

It's been like a month so I don't really remember much, but I still wanted to reply xD
I get the point you're coming from. This manga is about then fixing and amending their ways from an unstable relationship to one that they get through together. And yes, I have no qualms about crying, I didn't mention that as a form of weakness at all (c'mon ppl, expressing your emotions won't kill you). The mc both try, kudos to them, they persist and all the good things.
That being said, my point isn't about them, it was that this type of manga isn't what I'm looking for, hence the "kind of disappointed" and dropping. The mc is weak and flawed, but also has her own strength- like every mc. So I won't really argue about what serves as a "strong lead" as we all have different points in which we put our penny in. Some ppl say it's their beginning charisma and personality. Some say it's persistence and determination that the character has. Their development. The list goes on. I also never stated she was weak, but that I believe just "yelling and waving about" isn't a characteristic of a strong lead, basically addressing people who think so.
I do appreciate your point though, although the only thing I'd say is that letting someone run shit all over you and 'dealing with it' isn't strong in my book. Withstanding all that shit and dealing with the problem is. Idk maybe it sounds the same to some ppl, but there's a subtle difference for me.

Oh cool. I just thought you meant the crying was bad. Although I still slightly disagree about Chiwa as a strong character, I can see what you mean.
I came in with too high of expectations I guess. It's just fighting and fighting and misunderstandings that are glazed over by some words and sexy times. Yelling and waving about, for me, isn't a characteristic of a strong lead. And the guy has issues as well. If this wasn't fiction, they would be divorced so quickly. Slapping, threatening, saying things like "I'll rape that bitch" isn't enough to cover this. Mayve it gets better later or something, but I'm not willing to stick around the whole thing for thar. Sorry but this won't do for me.
