How about yuri On ice? It's an anime and owns the best pilot ever, shounen-ai, boy×boy, so perfect and well done.
If you're looking for a manga, what lies at the end is a very good one, same as Never Understand, but Raising a bat is so touching and really good, sensitive and everything we need to get a good boy × boy history, even though it has a bit of supernatural world, trust me. YURI ON ICE and raising a bat

If you haven't watched Yuri on ice, please do, and don't give up at least until the episode 10. You will fall in love with them in no time.

And 'Raising a bat', even with the vampire side, is really touching, not one of those stupid comics

I've heard a lot of Yuri on ice. But I haven't watch it yet. Does it represents LGBTQ characters well enough? Yknow what I mean right? Imagine being gay, and you have your parents and friends who are againts you and they are homophobic. Thats the kind of LGBTQ I'm talking about. Does Yuri on ice have a plot like that??
