the ending is easy the black haired woman finally decided to settle down with the blond chick . sorry for not using their names i am honestly horrible with names . this is a good read though

I thought that the first chapter was the ending and the following chapters was just flashbacks of their memories

No, they're two different people. The woman in chapter 1 who got pregnant is Mihashi. The woman who settled down with Yamanaka(black hair) is Taneda.
