WAIT A MINUTE

In the climax of the story, Rin was saying things that Sakiko used to do. Which, as his friends claimed that they were the ones who were with him at those situations. Because of that, I started to think that Sakiko was an imaginary friend of Rin. But that won't explain the ending where she suddenly took the form of a lady, which I guess was Rin's mother since it's the exact same woman in the picture of his mother.
So I'm just thinking of this. Kid Sakiko is Rin's mom. It said that Rin's mom died after giving birth to him. So it would be a good hypothesis that Sakiko (the mother) took the form of a child, to be with her son. Since it appears that she could shift appearrances.

So let's try and explain this story.
Rin is born without a mother. Which leaves the father to take care of him. We skip to Rin's childhood. He meets a kid with plain black hair, and just can't seem to leave him alone. This kid, is his mother, in the form of a child. A theory of mine says that Sakiko's child form is actually a kid inside the drawer who was left there to die. And the kids appearrance is taken over by Sakiko. Back to the story, I really do think that the time Rin spent with Sakiko C (child) is real. The mother wanted to spend time with her son, even in another form. But she had a different intention. Rin slowly gets tired of the clingy and persistent Sakiko C, and wants to find a way to get rid of her, or show that he doesn't care about her anymore. Then he discovers the drawer. We could say that he founds the drawer before Sakiko C is trapped. So it was a day before. Rin decides to draw a map so that he wouldn't forget where the drawer is. He thought of the drawer as something that Sakiko C would absolutely use. And she did. Next day, Rin asks her what game does she want to play, she says hide and seek, and Sakiko C hides in the drawer. When Rin sees that she is in the drawer, he runs off to go fishing with Yama.
Then those events occur. I do think that Sakiko M (mother) really did get trapped in the drawer, as she was still in the child's body. She couldn't escape the body, and she couldn't do anything.

So next happenings. Yama finds the map, which apparently Rin can't remember he even drew, and find the drawer. They unleash Sakiko C and M, and chaos occurs. This supports the part where Sakiko said that "I've waited for too long". We now see the father praying to Sakiko M when Rin locked himself up. He now thought of Rin as a troublesome child, and he wants Sakiko M's help. Himeko, Chiku, and Yama meet Rin who has clearly lost himself, and goes to possess Chiku. (Sakiko is still in her child form) Sakiko confronts Rin, and he suddenly goes ape-shit that Sakiko is his sister. Since he only known Sakiko in her child form.

Skip to the part of the flashbacks. The father of course doesn't react about Sakiko C missing because Sakiko never lived with them in the first place since she was already dead.

I do have some questions about Yama. Because it seems that he knows something. He started saying "It couldn't be.." "Why does Rin have to.." and shiz. But maybe it's just me. Skip that.
Okay.. this part. The part where it's all just swarming Sakiko's. I do think that at first, Sakiko M was satisfied with just being with Rin as a child. But Rin made a bad-bad, and that changed. She now wanted Rin to come with her, and join her. So she haunted Rin's mind. She wanted him to just see her. To just don't think of anything else and join her. This explains the ending where she goes back as Sakiko M. Completely erasing Rin's existence. And she's now on the mission to have the father next. So that they could be a happy family. Or maybe, take her place. It could just be to get rid of him. Sakiko probably blamed Rin because of her death. And she only wanted to be with her husband forever. Forgetting that they ever had a son.

That was damn long. Holy heck. If you reached this far, and listened to my Mat-Pat bs, you're a legend.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Tell me what you guys think.(▰˘◡˘▰)

I was in a total lost and your hypothesis seems to fit to the actual story
Thank you so much for your time and explanation
