The new season just got released so the raws aren't that ahead. My friend knows Korean so I was just having her translate everything and it is clear he's a new guy. He may turn out to have some relation to the ex, who knows, but we can only wait and see.

Maybe, just freaking maybe... The new guy is Xiao shang's old friend/crush? The one who hurt him before. He couldve looked different cause he matured due to the time skip? (their eyes match while Mi Xi has a lighter one). That could explain why big sis told Xiao shang not too be shocked. Idk haha
