No no no! I think this happened in the beginning where the boy tries to signal planes as he's building his cave shelter. I'm not sure which chapter it is, but a plane passes by the boy even though his signal is set up clearly (using stones).
thinking about it now, i think i can remember but also can't recall the chapter lol
