Sorry, i forgot. I read it in some translation article in tumblr (or forum? I really forgot) years ago, even before akumu no sumu ie got manga adaptation. It's not a mangaka who said it, but the author who write story, fuyumi ono. She said mai and naru will end up together, but she just doesn't want to write about it because that's not what she want to write
Honestly... really loved the manga ... However... Till d end I was hoping to see a little spark between naru and Mai ... Or at least hoping for them to end up together... One way or the other
