That is a swastika. It's a symbol which is thousands of years old, used and found in many cultures all over the world. Today still a very much used symbol in Asia. They The nazi's misused that symbol for their ideology. What the nazi's did was so traumatic to our societies in Europe, we still associate it with that part of our terrible history. However, non-European cultures don't make that association, since they have nothing to do with the Holocaust.
So if you see the swastika in Europe, it's most likely bad news, but if you see it in Asian manga and the such, it has absolutely nothing to do with the nazi's.
Oh, thank you, i sort of didn't know that that other people dont immediately think of that (I'm from Europe so when I learned history you kind of learn to associate them. But thank you for clearing that up (I was kind of schocked)
