yep, guang xiang is like... not even just a major hint but straight up about yuyang being in love with lin xiang, but I'm a bit at loss as to how the two stories fit in a timeline. I had/still have a bit of lingering doubt because I thought years had passed since guang xiang, and can't really see yuyang being hung up on someone for that long. whatever the case I'm here for the angst and the slow burn tbh
We kinda have 3 ending-timelines in Guang Xiang - one immediately after the main couple gets together, one 6 months afterwards and one 2 years afterwards. By the 2 years afterwards ending, YuYang is still super pals with Lin. Knowing his personality, I think we would not be so close to him had he still been harboring feelings. I am guessing Here U Are takes places in the 6 months timeline - that's why YuYang manages to still be friends with Lin in the end, since he will come to love LiHuan and will only see Lin as his BFF.
