Yeah, that idea occurred to me as well…
A lot of people are betting that the person YuYuang likes is Lin Xiang, because of YuYang confessed to him in when they were still in high school. That was my first thought, too.
I think Lin Xiang and his bf were already in first year college when YuYang confessed. But yeah it could be the prez assuming that YuYang had already moved on from LinXiang
I /kind of/ can see yuyang being infatuated with huanwen and having fallen into a "he's straight anyway so I'll never confess, but at least I can feel like this about him without being hurt" comfort zone rather than actually being in love with him. on the other hand, though? he's self-aware enough not to go for gay guys below his standards, much less straight ones, so. multiple possibilities rip
oh and I think some of you seem to be getting lin xiang from guang xiang and the class prez mixed up? they're not the same person guys
