I mean his character is what makes the story. He thought all his life he was an alpha and finds out he is an omega. I think he handles his self pretty good because in a lot of the omega verse mangas the omega just accepts being raped over and over. I can't stand that shit. He is a little fighter. Even though he is pretty clueless. I like the little spitfire that say what's on his mind.
I can see where you're coming from, and yeah I don't dwelve much into the rapey sub Omega shit much, but even so, the character of the uke to me rubbed me completely wrong... It's like a metal spoon scraping a bowl or something. I'm not hating on the story, I understood the necessity of it, and I did write that in the heat of the moment, but it's not going to change my perspective of how stupid he's being. As for handling himself, he's doing a poor job of doing that:deluding himself into thinking he's an alpha, going home with someone and into heat, lashing out and blaming it on the alpha, constantly bring up the "I'm a victim" card, relying on his friend and then being Curt to his friends interests because he didn't like the main singer (wonder why), being scammed and almost forced into performing services...it's just a constant cycle of him being blinded by his obsession. The only reason he's not raped or forced into prostitution or whatever is because of the people around him and a certain considerate alpha. He doesn't think, he just lashes out and blames others for something he can't comprehend. And yeah, I know it'll probably change since "character development" and all, but as for me, I don't know whether I'll bear with it in the meantime.
I guess it's a nice change from other omegaverse stories, so that's part of why people are drawn to this ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah I also understand your points but I do understand also that he didn't delude himself of being an alpha. He was told as a child that he was an alpha. So anyone would have continued their life not thinking different. I also know that because of him playing the alpha roll for so long is kinda of the reason he lashes out at other alphas because that's what alphas do! Lol. Him also being referred to as a recessive omega has a lot to with how clueless his character come across because it was clearly stated that recessive omega are kinda dumb and submissive that why dude said people like him are in demand. So I'm thinking it has more to do with his hormones or something in which makes him more submissive and gullible. I guess I understand his character because in the omega verse world thing are more different. People are control by their instincts and hormones. Alphas , betas and omegas have all different characteristics that define who they are and how they act. Our mc who is a recessive omega, which has just found out that he is not an alphas has stayed true to his character in my opinion. He doesn't treat alpha kindly because that the way alpha treat each other. He has yet to fall into his omega roll. I like the mc.
The young master is fine, his friends are fine, the side characters are fine...but damn did that deluded annoying brat turn this whole read sour. I can't stand his character at all. Really do hope something will happen and he'll chase after and learn to f i n a l l y appreciate seme.
