Y'all.....

Thank you for your wonderful comment but unfortunately, I don't feel like releasing it anymore. I do all my projects alone (someone volunteered to help me with cleaning just this chapter) so it's not like I've wasted anyone else's time except mine by scraping it since I don't have a team. If there are numerous changes when the volume comes out and I need to redo the chapter, I'll think about it but until then, it is what it is.

And in case people were wondering and reading this, I DO upload to manga aggregator sites (I'm here, aren't I?) but I prefer to upload chapters when I deem them complete and have time. Having someone jump the gun and upload something I consider incomplete is what angers me. And I also wrote that I didn't care if another group works on the project when I posted Shangri-La originally on Valentine's. And I still don't care. As long as you're not paraphrasing/stealing my translations and using the cleans/scans, then go right ahead and work on it. Just don't whine and bitch when I choose to do my own releases.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and extremely thankful everything that you all do. In fact, I used to do the same thing. However, I do find it a little unfair that you would punish the readers for something one person did. If the work wasn't complete to your liking, you shouldn't have shared so that the person who uploaded wouldn't have gotten their hands on it.

We are not the people that did this. I think you should be more careful. We didn't know it was stolen and incomplete. But like you said, it is what it is.

You work alone?!?! Wow, that's shocking to hear since most scans and translations are produced by teams and whatnot. Really, I'm surprised and admire your dedication to your work. I won't mince my words when I say it's a shame you dropped this. Your translation is near flawless and easy to read unlike others where the English is choppy and difficult to understand. I was pretty excited but it's your decision to let it go and no one else's.

Personally, I can understand why you did what you did and what it feels like to have your work stolen. I'm a photographer and went to school for six years so that I could support myself. Yet the moment I got a job and started working for a indie house publication, competitors and random bloggers started taking my photo's and using them as their own while purposefully removing my watermark. Technically, I could have sued them all and I'm still tempted to but I then I thought that it'd be better to just out-do myself which is exactly what I did. True, it blows that they did that and ignored all of my emails and phone calls. My photo editor eventually told me to just let it go since we're an indie publication and don't have the clout to take on main publishing houses and mainstream bloggers. But just let it roll off my shoulders and kept doing what I do best with the goal of outdoing myself each and every time I got an assignment.

My reason for sharing that with you isn't self serving, to patronize, or to get you to change your mind or anything like that. What's done is done and you are your own master. I just wanted you to know that there will always be clowns out there taking what's not theirs and rotten eggs backing them up because it benefits them. However, what they can't take is your tenacity and your talent.

Don't let these people run you down and strip you of your enthusiasm because at the end of the day, they're just nameless ships passing in the night. Also--and again, this isn't to boss you around or anything like that--even though you do you're work solo, you should look into joining with a large scanlation house. Not only will your work be protected but you'll have an entire crew to back you up when shit goes down. You've got a good eye for translation and cleaning and it would blow to see it go unnoticed.

But like I said, you don't need to listen to me carry on like the (kinda-ish) old bat I am because at the end of the day, you have to do what is right by you. It's my hope that you find a team that'll support you and have your back because behind every good artist is an equally talented posse. LoL. And even though I'm a perfect stranger to you, I've got your back and wish you the best in whatever you do.

TBH from my reader's point of view who waited patiently and respected your wishes, I do think it's a little unfair to punish everyone, but I understand your perspective since you did make it easy to read the chapter in the first place. It's not like you made it private or weren't thinking of uploading to aggregator sites in the first place. You shared it and asked people to wait...all they had to do was wait...which I don't think is hard at all, but I guess I was proven wrong. I'm angry, not at you, (so I don't understand why people are bashing you) I'm angry at the dumbuck who didn't respect your request and ruined it for everyone, and angry at those who are being assholes and bashing you when they don't even know their facts. Anyways, hope one day you change your mind and decide to share it. Thanks for your hard work!

Damn why is everyone so rude to the anon. I personally kinda agree with them.
