Woman-like ukes

i think the reasons why some characters in bl, especially ukes, turn out to be kinda feminine characters it might be because the female mangaka couldn’t really make a good accurate male character and maybe bc yaoi is usually for a female audience idk

it's usually these mangakas not understanding what an actual gay couple is like and hence trying to project a straight relationship onto a gay relationship ending in the uke being almost a woman and if not done right can get really hecking annoying bc like I came here for yaoi and you're basically giving me these two guys repackaged as some straight stuff

yes. regardless of the history and reasons why it's a trope, it's still an annoying one.

If the uke really looks and acts like a girl, I can't tolerate it.

And for precaution of me not insulting a manga, I'll have to avoid mangas with annoying girl-like uke. So... I usually don't care bout the personality, just the appearance please... Don't make my eyes bleed ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Oh and I don't mind crossdressing but if u gonna crossdress the whole manga is nuh uh. I'm not there to read a yaoi plus girls with dick lol. Based on these, I'm venting my frustrations on these mangas lol except for cry for me tho. I like that one.

There is a fine line between a male who is a little fem. to making a character a troupe. Some writers do it well and some don't. There are some males who have some fem in them in real life and blend both well. But some manga tend to rep, all gays esp. the uke as being nothing but female in style and nature with no maleness , That bothers me,it is about males. and men are diff. from woman.

Almost no BL has realistic gay relationships. The fact that roles like "uke" and "seme" are assigned already feeds into a heterosexual-like relationship. In the end it's just fanservice and nothing about it is realistic. Very few are realistic, and as long as terms like "uke" and "seme" are used, people probably won't care.
