I get it too and I agree. Cowardice and dishonesty should be returned with the same pain they inflict. If you run from someone who does not care that you're gone, your cowardice should be pain free. However, if you run from someone who loved you and your running caused them pain, you deserve that pain returned to you by a factor of 3. I believe in the threefold law, what you put out into the world will be returned to you threefold, good and bad. If you give of yourself freely and honestly, your good deeds will be returned three times over. If you hurt others and approach people with dishonest intentions, your actions will be punished and you'll feel three times the pain you inflicted. As someone who used to hurt others with my cowardice and dishonesty, I know this threefold law is real. I still pay for the things I have done. Now, however, I strive to be brave and honest. Those actions have also been rewarded three times over.
People with personalities like the Uke, where they love but do not dare to hold, I hope for them to live with their decisions. I hope for the possible love interest to not rescue them from their stupidity. I want this Uke to realise on his own and not be chased down or live with the consequences of his own actions. I want the Uke to see the Seme shining with Love and Happiness. Even if this Love and Happiness was not attained by this particular Uke.
