I do agree, but I think you might be lumping up the definition of masculine (having qualities appropriate to or usually associated with a man) with the term jerk (a piece of shit).

Cross dressing semes (and ukes?) has risen in popularity (sadly) so I just stick to not reading them (〜￣△￣)〜. I read yaoi for a reason and I like the characters look, well, male. Of course that is a personal preference and lesser in comparison (my preference being manly ukes).
