This ending was sooooo sooo soooo much better than the original ending. I loved Hee-Eun being alive and suffering away in the hospital. I love that the mother basically dropped her daughter but still blames the professor. Seems exactly what she would do, too. I also wouldn't be surprised if Hee-Eun tried to escape a few times to look for the professor.
I would have loved to know what you would have written about regarding Jin's father. What his thoughts were. I'm sure he would have had his wife tell him the truth even if she didn't want to about her daughter. Would he blame his own daughter too? Would he still be married?
This is beautiful. Thank you so much for this fanfic. I feel like I can properly be at peace with this comic ending now.
So glad you liked it! (▰˘◡˘▰) About Jin's father: from what I saw in the first chapters, I believe he would agree with anything his wife decided to do. After all he married her to put his hands into the fundation's business. I don't believe he ever truly loved his daughter. TT TT. Her mother (who passed away when Jin was a little girl) probably loved her a lot more.
