Well great.

I hope another scanlation group can pick it up then so some of us can read it.

Everyone would actually be able to read it if people would just not repost it anywhere. She has reopened her private group MANY times to new members. Seriously guys she's been less strict than scan groups were back in the day of irc or when Libre started c&d'ing all scans of works they publish. Unfortunately too many people are addicted to aggregators despite their negative impact because people hjust want to conveniently read free things.

How can we read/or contact them on their website to not be rude to them ?

Look that's great that she's open and all but it's useless. What's the point if I can't read it here? She can do whatever she wants and its great that people can read privately there. However, I'm just saying someone else should pick it up and do it that actually doesn't care if others put it up on this site and let everyone read it. As long as she's not preventing others from scanlating or translating and posting it then I don't care. But for me, if it's going to be a problem where I can't read it on one of these sites then good I hope her stuff isn't here. At that point I find it useless and annoying because then I gotta see it in the comments over and over. I got it the first time. If you wanna report then report it, but then move along and shut up. So I really do hope someone else takes this up because as of right now it seems like people who are part of that site can't even read it so what's the point? And last I check if you're on this site, any and all manga you read is being illegally taken and distributed, don't matter how hard the team works it's still not theirs to claim. I support them, I do but I'm tired of all this virtue signalling you got going on cause we all know why we're all here and it's to read free translated manga. If you got a problem with it then leave the site and stop reading manga online unless it's coming out yer pocket. P.s. to all the teams out there, I love what ya do and I got respect for it and if you wanna keep your scans private then go ahead, but there are teams out there that will let others upload or put it here themselves. So please don't complain if another team does. Because I know some try to call dibs and get annoyed if someone else picks up the same manga.

Totally. Translating has always been a moral grey area. And you're right - the only reason I'm here is so I can check if stuff like this happens. Realize though that scanslators are making 0 money off their scanslations. You don't see ads do you? Realize too that aggregators make money off ads. Do you see what the problem actually is? Someone is making money and its not the mangaka. I'm not saying that piracy is universally bad. A lot of stuff won't come to the West and a lot of the english publishers don't have the best track record when it comes to release quality and the amount they actually end up paying the mangaka. Just because you pirate does not mean you have never or will never buy things. Or that you'll never stop pirating one day.

That being said, you're also saying to someone who's translating manga for free that they need to either let you do whatever you want or they need to stop translating. You personally will never fact a legal threat from a publisher. They just might. Its easy to criticize when you don't face any risk.
But my post will probably be deleted since aggregators don't like it when people talk about their ad revenue.

I always use adblock so I won't generate revenue anywhere. And I'm guessing this was done by WTF readers group?

Very well said. Getting really tired of all the drama of late. Why can't people let people enjoy reading the manga, instead of all this unpleasantness.

No offense, but you essentially want scan teams to translate stuff for you for free and expect them to stay motivated when most people don't even visit the translators own ad free sites and instead come to readers and only comment here.
Take a look at how many yaoi translators last through the first year. Or the first three years.
The drama doesn't go away because nothing is getting resolved. People are even far too lazy to use google to find the translators site even when they can see the address on a credit page. And lets not forget the issue of aggregators making money of the illegal free translations done by others.

None taken, I make it a point to visit translator sites and thank them for their efforts. I do get your point though, not many last through the first year which explains exactly why we have so many abandoned manga. I am grateful for their work. The point I was trying to make earlier was why can't people simply be nice to readers, you are after all putting all of your time and effort for them right. Life is hard as it is, why make it harder.

That's true, some probably are, but there are many that make it a point to go and thank the Scan teams for all their hard work. I do, there are sweet people out there as there are jerks. You should have a look at the tumblr asks.
However Scanlators treating readers like dirt is not acceptable. We love you man. Be kind to us.

Fyi I and a friend on here decided to work on abandoned manga, put our scans on mangago. She's done a lot, I'm new.

As for aggregators making money, hosting manga/ servers costs money. Like someone pointed earlier I have ad block & they're not forcing me. It's also so much more convenient reading here, I tried reading on google drive but it keeps reloading every few pages.. a pain.

Ultimately we're all in the grey area, let's just spread the Yaoi love x

Look, I understand what you're saying the thing is, my original post wasn't wrong. I'm not forcing them to do anything, and if the translator for this manga doesn't want it shared on this kind of site then I'm saying I hope someone else who doesn't mind translates it instead. I don't view the adds on here either and I love all the translation/scanlating teams there are. Its just that lately there have been some nasty comments or fighting between readers when discussing this and honestly you're the nicest one I've met. I thank you for your time in replying and trying to get your viewpoint across. I'm just irritated when things like this happen and then people in the comments want to try to take the moral high ground considering what site we're on. I know what kind of backlash these teams can get and I know publishers try to come after them, so I understand their fear. However there are teams who would let them post their stuff as long as credited and I'm just saying maybe they should also take over this manga. It's frustrating when people keep telling you that you're terrible for reading stuff here when they know nothing. I have a wall full of manga, especially of the ones that I read online but I'm poor so it takes awhile to get to that point of owning all the volumes of everything I've read. I never said I'd force them to work or post their work, I respect their decision to post privately or not. I just get annoyed when I see a manga here and then 50mil comments say it can't be here and I can't read it anymore. So I gave a suggestion. And it ducks that the site makes money off the adds, but whose gonna pay for it to stay up? Maybe if they used donations instead would everyone be happy? Teams could also ask for donations from the readers or use an anonymous name to accept donations for their work and not through the manga so publishers can't come after them. Like a patreon but under a different guise like "people who send translation but not the manga" or idk. I'm just trying to find a solution for the drama.

Translate stuff for free not the case nowadays for many. Some scanlator ask donation and other put up ads on website or link or Ko-Fi etc. Like aggregator they too need to pay their bill (server, books). Although some scanlation build audience and used the audience they build to ask for money for things unrelated to manga. I shit you not I've seen scanlator post on their scanlation website asking donation for them to move house.

You seems to defend this particular scanlator probably because you have access to read. If you're not you won't be barking out loud here right now with so many comments. You also probably make known of your username here to that particular scanlator to gain point in case they make another secret site so that you have a testimony on how much you went all SJW on the scanlator.
