Indeed. Even though maya clearly loves nemu so much, never once has he said "I love you" to nemu. I know he's been expressing his love through his action, but come on, maya knew nemugasa better than everyone else at this point; he's dense when it comes to feelings! Unless you spell it out to him, he wouldn't know. Just be honest, tell him how you feel, how he's important to you and for the love of yaoi, please COMMUNICATE, don't go hiding anything from your partner dammit.
I'm so glad not everyone's hating on Ruka. Like yeah, he's manipulative as hell, but somehow all the broken ones seem to either become like that or useless to boot. Ruka's relation to Maya is also somewhat of a means to an end. There's no romance so much as there's a need for dependency on Ruka's part and he just hasn't found anyone to become his "legs" so to speak. But srsly, Maya's suuuuper popular whereas Nemu's not, so of course the latter party's gonna feel insecure asf. Like dude, the fish in ur sea literally swim up to you while you got ur soulmate fish. That was a bad analogy but yeah. Totally wish they would be transparent but yeah, I can see why Maya knows it's a bad idea to tell Nemu but MAAAAAAN it gonna fire right back at ur ass! XD
Maya has become so much better as a boyfriend, because he obviously loves Nemugasa so much that he wants to be a better man for him. But, without telling Nemugasa that he loves him, his actions (not getting jealous, trusting Nemugasa, respecting him etc.) come across as indifference and it just seems like he doesn't feel passionately about Nemugasa. Time for Maya to grow a set and tell Nemugasa how much he means to him.
Also, Ruka doesn't want Maya romantically and he hasn't got a chance anyway as Maya is only gay for Nemugasa.
