Not fond of the idea of prostitution, but it’s not really wrong.

Honestly, I’m not fond of the idea; however, if it’s consensual, not abusive, not psychologically traumatizing, and not statutory rape, then, I won’t bother. The older brother is not a college graduate, and what people seem to forget is that he has an accent that not a lot of people like—I’m sorry but there’s still linguistic discrimination in our world.

First of all, don’t put religion into this. I know that everyone was raised differently, but if you’re reading mature yaoi, then, you should be mature enough to understand that a lot of people are in different and desperate situations. He can’t have a lot of jobs, since he’s looking after his younger brother. He wants to finish college, too, you know. He wants to pay back his aunt and uncle, too. Guys, don’t you read everything? In every panel? Or are you just waiting for sex to happen? Then, are we also forgetting that he has to pay Fuuta’s school fees?

Never judge a person’s way of living when you aren’t in their shoes. Don’t dare tell me that you won’t do the exact same thing, because, one, are you even from the countryside who came to the city? Are you also someone who was in university/college, relying on your parents’ financial security? Did you have to take the insurance money then realize it wasn’t enough? You have to use up all insurance money for paying the debts of your late parents! Don’t you think he’s in enough desperation?

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouths. I was raised in a very conservative home and still have subconscious thoughts of strict morality. However, the amount of sex you have with different people does not “invertedly” equate to the amount of respect you should get. We seem to forget that Mr. Arrogant Architect had had a lot of sex, too, with many and different people. Seems like he has loose morals, too. If you don’t think that Mr. Seme is not in the wrong for fcking a lot of peope(heck, for even offering money for sex), then, don’t fcking blame our main guy.

Now, the point is—don’t hate the uke. These aren’t weak actions under desperation; he had to lose pride and self-righteousness to sacrifice his body for his brother’s future and even for him, too. You aren’t in his situation right now, you wouldn’t understand. And hypothetically, if ever I am, I won’t do the same thing as him—however, I’d still be tempted and would even have the thought in mind. We have different definitions of morals, the older brother has his own set of morals, too. But in order to move on with life, he had to lose everything of morality. So, don’t hate him, don’t hate the story for the mention of prostitution.(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I’m not sure if I made any sense.

Actually I don't judge either guy. You seem to judge the seme rather harshly merely because he sleeps around as having loose morals. You are free to choose what suits you, but I have always thought that as long as both people were consenting adults, no matter how weird some things may be or what the arrangement was, what happened in a bed was nobody's business but their own. And as long as those adults went about their business in a decent, honest manner and hurt no one, how can they be said to be in any way immoral? The seme was at least open and upfront about his offer, and gave the uke a chance to refuse. It would have been far worse if he had merely tried to seduce him as he was conveniently there, and had given him nothing in return. That would have using him and would have been morally wanting. I also think most people get the uke's situation, so I don't understand why you felt the need to say all that in his defense.

Ahahaha, no, fam. I’m just making a point, ‘cause if you dig deeper in the comments, there are actually a lot of people debating. I mean, this concept is nothing new in this genre. I’m also not judging the seme. Just saying that why do they judge the uke so much and forget the seme. I didn’t mean bad. I think I was just so pissed off that they don’t understand the uke’s situation that I wasn’t able to word the sentences properly. I don’t hate the uke nor am I judging him. Same goes for the seme. I love the story and I’m excited on how this is going to unfold. I literally mentioned that the amount of sex someone have isn’t a way to judge them. The seme is just...arrogant in my case, however, this is just the second chapter, so...I’m patiently waiting. I’m just judging his “arrogant” character—since it seems it’s just surface level for now—not the amount of sex he had. So, I really hope you understand what I meant. Thanks.

FR, I'm tired of all these privileged & ignorant people in the replies. I actually find the uke very strong handling all these responsibilities by himself, esp considering his age. Not everyone can handle that
