Well, in my case I've recently started manga so my addiction is so intense. Right now I find no interest in books. But knowing myself, I'll be able to read after a while.
Exactly! The problem is not the fact that you don't have want to read books but your urge to read comics is just bigger and your interest is easily drawn toward comics and not books
i interchange since there are times i wanted to get out of smut literature (yaoi).
also, isekai is a current obsession of mine so i read light comics too in addition to manga and novels.
but TBH, nowadays i read more comics and light novels than actual best seller paperbacks lol.
Me: should be reading classical old books for knowledge, to have better communication skills, & be a more cultured for my own good
