He Tian hearing Mo's voice, even though he was pissed about being woken up, was enough to calm He Tian down because he knew that his Mo 'puppy' was OK.
And I'm honestly seriously hoping that his big brother lied to him about the puppy. Like, he ended up keeping it himself to take care of because it was a pup that He Tian rescued.
If not keep it himself, then give it to a loving family.
