OK! I know I really love Free-Iwatobi Swim Club Eternal Summer but its only an anime as far as I know so maybe I would like the Haikyuu anime more then. Thank you!
I personally love the Haikyuu anime. It's so heartwarming how they all learn how to work together and become stronger as a team. But I would warn that it's not too similar to Free, even though they are both "sports" themed.
Haikyuu is AMAZING. The anime is perfect. The amount of times I rewatched it is unhealthy (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I've watched the anime first then started reading the manga after the first season of anime where the art style is a little better compared to the earlier chapters...
So I’ve read the first 5 chapters but any seem to get into Haikyuu... I see it had high ratings and that lots of people really love it. Does it just take a little while for the story to pick up and get more interesting? What am I missing? Thanks!
