tbh they should have expected it. there were already flashbacks of his past in the earlier chapters, i guess people conveniently forget that, and now theyre all like "im scared for life!! omg i totally hate this now". like, get a fucking grip.

I'm not so sure its the death thats the problem (though it is sad to see your favs die) but the whole 10 year olds (well children) being raped thing...
i was talking about the rape scene too but didn't outright say it, like i said "new level of dark", "serious business" and "it's always been hinted at" are me talking about that scene and yes, i hated it too but it's true, it had always been hinted at that that is what happened to ciel, in his behaviour towards others touching him to the flashbacks you see, it's obvious.
i can't believe people are dropping this. yana has always had great plans for this manga, i'll stick with her no matter what. it's always been dark, always and yes, this is a new level of dark and you can't expect there to be humour in these latest chapters since it's serious business but it's been hinted at, it's always been there and death is definitely nothing new to this manga even if it is our!ciel's loved ones and characters we don't want to see die but surely some of you had to expect this? it was never going to be a happy ending...it already isn't a happy ending, our!ciel has lost everything, even before the start. i've always loved the serious side of this manga, the dark aspects of it. i hope people can keep loving and supporting black butler, it's a great story but yes, most definitely a tragedy too.
