about Yaoi

Really? I read lookism to change my thoughts for a minute but my brain hurts after chapter 30 or so and now I'm craving fluffy yaoi mangas though none seemed to make my heart flutter, I felt indifferent. I know that I've already lost my emotions for shojo (except akatsuki no yona and ookami heika) but I don't know about yaoi though. I get bored easily.

Maybe take a break for a while? ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I do get bored time to time, although I never had the thought to quit yaoi. When I'm bored I always read shoujo and haikyuu. Yes, haikyuu (that manga has powerful healing properties i swear furudate sensei must have used some sort of sorcery). And I always switch genres like from the darkest fucked up plot to the fluffiest slice of life to the most heartbreaking tragedies. I guess you need a change of air or a break from yaoi, and I'm sure you'll come back for it later ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

sure, quit it. my longest is two years. im originally a seinen reader so i just went back. then i slowly find myself reading BL again.

as the anon above says, even if it's your favourite food, it gets boring after some while so go ahead and read other books. heck, read novels there's a lot of amazing ones. widen your horizon. yaoi is not all that.

I feel you man. There's just so much shitty yaoi out there it sucks.

I checked some Shojo-Ai, they're cute as well... try other genres, new types of books,novels etc..

When I saw real life “ bromance” I’m seeing creepy yaoi scenes without my control andthat’s worst !

Same here! When I decided to quit reading yaoi damn! There’s a new yaoi webtoon plus the main character is good looking hottie so how can I control myself ! And there’s not many good manga/webtoon it’s boring without any manga so I’m just reading yaoi instead of yuri (〜￣△￣)〜

its my occassional vacation. you may call it cleansing of palate. what's wrong with that? i've been reading manga since forever two years is nothing to me. if you call yaoi hell, then call me the maou-jou/demon queen.
you can entirely break away from yaoi. we are different people with different plans and i don't intend to stay away forever at that time anyway.

if you want to stay away, do it entirely, else sooner or later you will be tempted to come back.
i think it's best to stay away from mangago bec it's easy to see the thumbnail covers at the front page. read other things away from this site.
