Good Shoujo manga ?

The only shojo manga that I really followed is akatsuki no yona but u must have read it already

Man, I gave up on shoujo a long time ago. I agree that it's the same old cliche. Like I even forced myself to read shoujo again but it just won't work. Yaoi really took me in.

Yeah.. the plots in shoujo manga tend to be overused and cliché xD

As mentioned above, skip beat and akatsuki no yona are good examples of "strong female leads".

Ngl tho the MC is a bit annoying but the story isn't really clique and has multiple love intrests

I really like Namaikizakari, mainly because the girl lead is independent and has a very strong virtue ヾ(☆▽☆)

NOTE: those with are a must read and i really adore them the most but the others are really good too!

1- Horimiya "ongoing but have 80+ chaps"
(really unique plot-comedy-school life)

2-Last Game "completed 56 chaps"
(feels trips-perfect couple-my fav in comedy after lovely complex)

3-Hibi Chouchou "ongoing but have 75+ chaps"
(seems to be cliche plot but when you read it you won't be able to stop reading i read it over 5 times and I still blush and giggle at their adorableness!)

4-Hirunaka No Ryuusei "completed 78 chaps"
(THE MOST SATISFYING MANGA THAT WON A REWARD IN MY HEART FOR ITS ENDING!!! ITS A MUST!!!!)

5-Hiyokoi "completed"
(ADORABLE LITTLE THING!!! I JUST LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH cuz its just so adorable you'll understand if you read it >//-//<) ah but i think it had an ova or something? idk

6- Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun "completed and have anime"
(but read the manga it have lot after the anime and it is worth it!)

7-Dengeki Daisy "completed"
(I really liked this one was deep and the plot was meh but I enjoyed it, it is a bit slow but again it is enjoyable)

8- Beast Master "completed"
(cliche but worth it, I really liked how the couple in this got together and how they act is so funny xD)

9-Pika Ichi "ongoing 27+ chaps"
(this really is good but it's ongoing and T^T they not a couple in it but THEY SHOULD BE!!! but it is awesome enough to read!)

10-Yumemiru Taiyou "completed"
(sweet slice of life shoujo manga that give you the feels it is absolutely a good read!)

I forgot others since I have stopped reading shoujo for awhile now ... (for about two years now) but these are really good, their plot is capturing and the characters are so lovable and the male leads are not bad boys, the girls are not that weak either and they make such a lovely couples ... they were mostly the innocent and pure kind of love, but if it's not a yaoi, I like that kind of love more xD Hope it's of any help to you

You might find these manga cliche but I recommend the Fushigi Yuugi series. Also Reimei No Arcana is good too.
