I am glad that ended. Even though Chika's feeling were obvious. It is still a fact that he brutally used Hotaka's kindness for his own self satisfaction. when he had planned for things to end right from the start regardless of Hotaka's feeling (he just said if Hotaka reacted it would make things harder-not impossible) Basically he satisfied his need to have a relationship with the one he liked. Stirred their heart and let them go.
I like to think that if Hotaka had been able to tell him he loved him that he wouldn't have ended things. I take it from Hotaka's thoughts that he possibly is actually in love with him or with Masato. Can't wait to read the rest.

Chika is bound by family obligation and needs an heir for the hospital so what you said is highly improbable.

He has said he had a plan for to deal with the family obligation, I'm curious what that was. This understanding woman came along so whatever the plan was it apparently wasn't needed but then again maybe saying he had a "plan" was just an excuse.

Time will tell I suppose. But I really did find what he did to Hotaka very selfish.
