From what i remember, the last school which they one had only 3 sets. (I think)
The last 5 set they played was in the final of spring high with Shiratorizawa
yea it did have 3 sets but because Karasuno won all of them
they didn't win after two but after 3 won sets
and because now they have won one set and other school also won one I think they have to play at least one more...
and also
it wouldn't feel like it finished..
I kind of feel like both Nishi and Tanaka didn't really manage to shine the way they usually do
and Hina-chan too
most of the match was about other school so probably next set will be more focused on Karasuno
or that's at least what I'm hoping for xD :D
but I guess we will see soon if it's 5 set game or 3 set game ^-^
A 5 sets game is generally the last game in a competition, like the match against Shiratorizawa. In other words, only the match that is fighting for a 1st place out of the whole competition will feature 5 sets (unless stated otherwise) meanwhile the rest of the matches will feature 3 sets; that is, if a team wins 2 sets straight, then they automatically win a 3 sets match since it doesn't matter who wins the 3rd set, they already have the majority won (2 out of 3). The same mechanism goes for a 5 sets match: if a team wins 3 sets straight, they automatically win a 5 sets match since they have the majority of sets on their favor. In this case, Karasuno won the 1st set and Inarizaki won the 2nd set, so the one that wins the 3rd set will be the one to win the match.

Yes, don't worry about it sometimes it may get confusing. I watched the anime 3 times and also I'm reading the manga so by now I'm a bit more informed when it comes to volleyball haha
I don't want it to continue! The boys are so so tired, this match has been really hard on them. If it were a 5 sets game they would most likely lose meanwhile here we have more hopes of winning! even tho Hinata hasn't been playing as much and almost all the attention (when talking about story and flashbacks) has been on Inarizaki （￣へ￣）
