How the heck did you all miss the fact that Tian Hu's mother does NOT like Meili? He is bringing Meili to trick his mother into thinking that he is not in a relationship with Meili. But Meili's mind if like a child, and if he has too many details, he might be scared, or blab it to the world.

I hate what they're doing to Meili. Why in the world would he want to go to your wedding even if it's fake. Nobody would think of you more highly because you're sacrificing yourself like that for someone. In the end, you're removing a privilege of theirs (to marry you since you're so in love) Why would you keep him in the same house as the woman that everyone thinks you're with. It's cruel and selfish and honestly if i was Meili i'd run away or something. Fuck this. I'm not even a character in this story and i feel like shit while i read this. Why am i even reading if it makes me on the verge of tears every chapter. WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF .... gonna keep reading though but fuuuuuccckkkk i hate the majority of the characters here (but appreciate them lmao) ┗( T﹏T )┛
