That’s kinda how the mc feels. Like he’s dead and doing whatever it was dead people do, then all of a sudden in a random persons body getting beat up by an ugly guy n his goons..... but like everyone else here is saying, go read the novel. It explains more and you will be obsessed (●'◡'●)
honestly, I have some trouble reading the novel too, because the names are so confusing D: I think the best thing is to read both the novel and the comic at the same time (⌒▽⌒)
Yeah the names are a bit confusing...literally everyone has three or four names. It's already hard enough for me to keep up with one lol. Still, it's a good novel.
the plot is VERY slow in the beginning and i feel in the manhua it would be even slower. I recommend reading the novel first as indeed chinese names are confusing af as long as you have seen them a couple of times you should get used to them do dont worry. I really hope you dont drop it as it is a very good series and harlious af
Don't worry, I won't drop it, even if I don't understand everything it is really interesting! And then, I'll probably re-read it in the future while waiting for new chapters to be translated and it will be more clear

The names confuse me too. And they all have so many names! (The only one with more than one name should be the mc -his real name and the name of the body he’s in). I half ignore pets of their names to make it easier. Also, they each have a 3 character first name, and I just ignore that part of their name and go by the bigger name that comes afterwards. That’s helped me a lot. As I get more into the book, I’ll probab be able to stop skipping names.

i didn't find their names complicated at all. there are titles, names they changed to when they joined the sect, and birth names i believe. These are the only ones. as for how they have too many syllables in their names - that's simply because you are not used to Chinese names.

i read the novel. it didn't really take much effort to connect the names to the characters.
A person has 3 official names, still have a nickname, face different person with different name, really, just at first I also can not remember, then no problem.I read the novel twice time,love all the characters.
Tried reading this but the story makes very little sense to me. I feel like I just got dropped into the middle of something, with no explanation. The art is beautiful, but I really can't enjoy it cause of the bad writing. Gonna try the novel instead.
