No in this case I actually liked the story since the seme really did like the uke without knowing that he is gay. Since he said “I cant imagine the perfect future” and thought about the uke while he was with his girlfriend. He was just confused which is normal but in most mangas like this suddenly the seme falls in love with the uke which is kinda abnormal
