I'm also glad it isn't a yaoi, somewhat different reasons though, I feel like it wouldn't be the same and it wouldn't be as popular. Plus I have non fujoshi friends who like black butler and I feel like they would've never seen it if it was a yaoi.

I so agree with you ! I like yaoi but never did I shipped Ciel and Sebastian. I find it quite disturbing and knowing what we know now, I'm even more disgusted by the idea *feeling sick and wanna cry all the tears in my body*
Alot of fans will say they are sad this wasn't a yaoi. I'm not. I definetly don't disagree with the idea of #2 & Sebby being shiped together (I see why they do) but I just can't ship it because of #2 age. He's too young. I'm happy it's not a yaoi because I wouldn't have read it in the first place, which would suck because I really like this series. I would read it if he was at least 17 but not if he were still 12-13.
