I hope that the Professor is alive and in the hospital for treatment. Hee-Eun is alive too but forever hospitalized in a Psychiatric Clinic. An investigation will happen and the mother is in prison for not only paying to silent anyone who saw her daughter kill her other stepdaughter and for not reporting her death to the authorities, same with hee-eun attacking the professor and once again not reporting the attempted murder. I also hope the father is shunned from the community. I am very certain he was aware what been going on but he kept his mouth shut due to his own greed and desires.
I'm hoping the same and keeping my fingers crossed for that. Please, author, our dear Professor needs to be kept alive!
I don't know you, girls. But is it me or Serenade remembers (really really vaguely) the novel Jane Eyre? I had this impression while reading it, and the last raw with the psycho setting the fire made me think of it even more. Oo
