My older brother has been reading Yaoi waaaay before me so like when he found out, he gave me recommendations? lol I guess you should just stay quiet? You don't have to make excuses, just act normally, he might feel awkward too so most likely he'll treat it like it never happened. If worse comes, ignore.

I have a brother and he knows I do, he's actually started shipping some yaoi ships aswell (▰˘◡˘▰). But in my case, he was an otaku in the first place and knows the sorts. I think taking small steps is good, like showing him yaoi pics and see how he'll react but he knew I was a fujoshi when I was fangirling about them. But we have different situations so I can't guarantee. He'll definitely be uncomfortable at first but you just gotta show him the beauty and passion of it ^^ (=・ω・=)

Strangely enough, It also happened to me. I was reading kagehina doujinshi when it happened, and it was a kiss scene (god why does this always happen to me its the same with my mom TT).
