Lets not get defensive all of a sudden! It is okay to ask questions and wonder about things that we are not familiar with.
U may want to be more specific on what u would like to know. Their everyday struggle? Relationship? Their realization of their orientation? Their mindset? There is so much! I´m not gay, but i have read about it a tiny bit.

Why is it wrong? Their relatioship is quiet different that what u may expect because of the stigma and all so don´t be rude to somone who is asking question!
There is so much research on hetero relations so it is totally normal to do research on same sex couples!

People, stop jumping on everyone who is looking for homosexuals. If they are in social studies, then its completely normal to single out a certain population and "research" them. Part of the research could be that some people dont think its necessary to look at gays someone special, singling them out, but there is undeniably issues that need further understanding even now.
It may have sounded offensive, but science and research is as impartial as it could get.

I am very sorry if it sounded rude .... I am a psychology student. In my final year n I have to do research on how people's think on homosexual parenting. And I thought this was the only place I could as for help.... And I need homosexual people who could tell me how thy feel about the criticism and how they deal with it.. But looks like I offended u guys . I am deeply sorry for tat...

And I didn't choose this research topic. I was told to do it. I know giving explanation will not help me. But I just wanted help tat all. I have homosexual frd who has a kid and he has gone through lot cause of our society. Tat why I wanted to know and see if I could make a difference. Make people open mind.

That is such a great research topic! I think there is a difference in parenting just because there is no input from the other gender, for example it is very hard for two gay men to talk to their daughter about period because they have not experienced it. Also as the child grows up they realize their family is different so they could be more suseptable to depression or being bullied.
On the other hand extreme experiences and struggles can help families become closer and help individuals become proper adults if they recieve love and care, so these kids would become a more mature and intellectual adults.
There are many advantages and disadvantages, but then again everything in lifehad advantages and disadvantages. Btw, i am also a psych major my concentration is family studies. Good luck with the research.
