I thought it was a very strong story. In fact, character-wise, it was stronger than the others. I didn't want it to be 3P, and it bothered me that Edo did both of them...but he was the link that brought the couple back together. The experience made him a better photographer and showed him something about what love is...love that has to overcome things, suffer things. I thought it was very good, just not as "fun" as the other two couples.
I really enjoyed the second story especially the way it ended.
Character development for Edo, yes! Melvin and the other guy, no! Because I don't even know whether this is love story or not between Melvin and the other guy. And I don't even know whether Edo loves Melvin or the other guy. Like I said I couldn't grasp the situation they were in.
Without rereading (and I tend to forget things FAST), I recall that things "staying the same" was part of the issue for the couple, and how difficult it was to love non-beard ex guy, and yet it was clear they both very much loved and needed each other. They stayed in the same situation, but Edo learned and moved on. But staying together is what they wanted/needed, so it was fine for them to resume their relationship.
I wish I could delete the 2nd story from my memory. I don't find anything loveable about them. It's like an open and casual relationship rather than romance. I couldn't grasp the situation they were in. I couldn't even see whether they really in love or not. But Eric and Louis is definitely my favourite and I need more of them(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
