i agree. they always pick the guy who just wavers all over the place and does next to nothing. never the guy who is always there. or the one who actually tries. i have read three manga where that wasn't the case. (suki desu-suzuki-kun, moe kare, and Hirunaka No Ryuusei)

i have no shame for preferring aya > towa.
it's typical shoujo when the MC doesn't choose the second male lead.
the first male lead always does little to nothing to get the MC.
this is why i dropped pretty much every shoujo manga i've read.
