Happy but Also WORRIED

I Loved how he gave Shin the sword he used to kill the king. I think that was great. Instead of keeping it himself he gave it to the one who deserved it the most and who had a key part in the death of the king.

But WTF was "the new king saying at the end"
The touching on the neck at page 49 an 50 reminded me of a scene I kinda remembered with the previous king.

"Now your body is mine"
Thats completely out of his character. It seems more like the prev king. Why would he talk of 'claiming his body' when he knows what Shin's been through.

"for as long as you live and breath you shall be mine"
that the most messed up thing. It's basically putting shin in the same invisible cage he was in before. Basically saying he can't leave for as long as he lives.

I know it might not be to this extent yet but he just became King 5 minutes ago and already says that...what happens when hes been king for a year.

"I have made this man king"
I can tell if he's happy when he says it...It defiantly doesn't look like he is.
It seems like he can already see some parts of the olf king in him.

Ughhh I can't wait till season two!!!
I think part of it went pretty quick (like once shin got out of the castle it could have gone way slower instead of skipping so much....but at the same time I NEEDED to know what happened.

Maybe the old king was right, maybe he could see something in his son that was like himself. Maybe he really did "curse" him in a way. Maybe theres even like a family curse thats put on anyone who becomes king. Magic has played a little part so far but it is in the story...I hope I get to see more of it.

Lol. Sorry this is so long.

Ok i agree with your first two paragraphs, but I believe him saying that shins body belongs to him is entirely in his character as he from the start shows how his wants to make shin his, I think that his saying your body is mine is to signify that shin no longer belongs to the old king.

On the fourth paragraph you say he is putting shin back into this invisible cage but I think he is expressing that nothing will keep them apart no more which is more liberating for the two of them.

Now for shin saying I have made this man king I believe he is saying this in disbelief as in a brief moment he sees him in kinda robes with gallant smile reminding me of the good king he talked about before. I just Believe shin is shocked at how far they have both
come and how he played a big

Sorry if that sounded snarky but I just was intrigued by your thoughts on this and am also excited to see further developments in season 2 especially of the old kings curse (plleaase don't come truue)

I Think what you said is definitely a possibility and a high one, it wasn't snarky, I'm fine with constructive criticism and hearing others people's thoughts...I actually welcome it.
That's one reason why I love this site. You can share your opinions on different stories and it's not like youtube...you get meaningful answers back

I Also first interpreted it like that. But then I sort of changed my mind after reading it a couple times, just something seemed off about the characters and the faces.

I think the writer and artist are pretty good and add a fair amount of detail so I thought their wording might be an important hint. At this point in time, I think his " I have made this man...The king" was probably more positive than negative...especially since it just happened and there were only a couple odd out of place words exchanged, so it should definitely be a happy moment.

This was just one of the many options I thought that could happen for season two (lol it was already so long I couldn't write anymore)
I do hope it won't come true...but It might be nice for the story
