The thing I learned about fiction, is that therapists never exist. Both in manga, and Western media.
But mental illness in real life is also rarely taken seriously. So there might be a bit of truth there. It's possible Hiroto never told anyone that he was afraid of men. So somehow his parents may not have known. And Hiroto is also calling it an "allergy" when it's more like a phobia. Considering he was fine with Ohshiro in the end, especially after being molested again, shows that he might be ok with the touch of men he really trusts. So assuming his dad was around, Hiroto probably didn't exhibit his fear of men around his family.
But I agree, it got a little bit rushed at the end. I'm annoyed that man got away in the end. Like, he can come back at Hiroto again any time, so I feel like Hiroto's a bit in danger. Especially since this isn't the first time he's been attacked by men. The police should better secure the area in my opinion.
The story had potential, I loved the fact that his boyfriend was understanding of his problem and took it slow with him.
However the ending was rushed.
Shouldn't he be checked up in a hospital if his trauma was that bad instead of trying to cure it himself?
Also we weren't given a proper closure or explanation to what happens of the pedophile.
Like did they report that ugly man to the police?
