I loved how they tied it in though. From the very beginning all Kiyoshi did was lie to Chiyo. He lied about the peeping, stole and wore her uniform, all the business with Hana.... It has all come full circle. Now Chiyo also lives by the "men are garbage" motto after all the bullshit they (he) put her through. God, this is fucking gold.

Its an ending far better than I ever could have imagined. Everything I didn't know I needed.

Chiyo the man-hater is not something to be happy with as the ending, it would be better if she got dissapointed with Kiyoshi alone but not the whole gender, that is she would have a happy love life so we readers will be happy for her as well.

Lmao its like you havent even been reading the manga. This manga is making fun of all the stuff typical in shounen/seinen manga. Its a parody. Its like you're asking Family Guy to have a decent ending, its just...completely barking up the wrong tree. Especially the fact that in seinen manga the guy acts shitty but his essentially personalityless, nice girl, cheerleader, is always by his side and is super understanding no matter what stupid bullshit or selfish or dumb thing he does. Thats why it ended that way, because this manga exist to solely make fun of/parody and subvert seinen tropes. Chiyo's character is so obviously coded as the typical love interest in these stories and thats why its so fucking funny that the manga ended like it did. How can you honestly suggest that the manga that literally shows a girls sweaty vag for 90% of its content get any other ending. If anything its supposed to be a big stfu to all the guy fans following this that completely missed the authors messages through out the story and how this is a parody. So of course it has an over the top ending. But I honestly can't imagine a better and more fitting ending when keeping in mind the actual things the author was trying to achieve here.

No I totaly get the rough irony it is supposed to be and I'm pretty much content with the ending, it's just as you yourself said «after all the bullshit they (he) put her through» she's left with inherited fobia. It's just a bad aftertaste that's all, as in all we live in real world and jokes that go overboard are not that funny.

I would agree with you if this wasn't a 277 chapter long manga, with characters no matter how bizzare depicted you get attached to. Thus it literally causes dissonance with being rough irony and delivering enjoyment, with just being rude in the end. Not like it's something major for me, I can see why it is like it is.

I guess I just dont get why you think the ending is over the top. You're kind of asking for a happy and semi realistic ending....to a manga that is anything but that. Its supposed to be ridiculous so a ridiculous ending seems fitting to me. I don't get why have almost 300 chapters of a parody/comedy would suddenly make it need a "decent" or "happy ending". It would be like changing the genre right there at the end imo, so I just don't think it went too far. She just ended up like her sister, which is honestly no surprise if you look at the idiots around her and her dad lol. Ugh, that dad lmao, its a miracle Chiyo stayed as sane as she did for as long as she did.

And yeah lol you get desensitized to all the vag, panty, boob, and butt shots which is like...fucking amazing to me. He pushed it so far that it was usually gross or completely unnoticed. Honestly, iconic.
