The gag is that its been years since the manga started and Onodera still hasn't confessed to his seme properly and its taking forever.
Plus at the end of every chapter of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi they put a little timer saying how many days it’s will be before Onodera Ritsu admits he is in love. It’s enough to drive a person crazy considering how long it’s takes for the manga to be updated! ☹

Oh my gosh... I officially love this translator for saying “Don’t be like Onodera”! Yes! Definitely don’t be like Onodera! We don’t need more stressful characters like darn Ritsu who torture us readers by not admitting their feelings properly! (Though I still love him all the same)
