Hey there, I hope I'll be able to help, so here we go; The first part of this series is Dokgo where we see Kang Hu (spoilers if you haven't read it......Who is actually his brother Kang Hyuk), then to get a better understanding of Dokgo we have to the prequel Dokgo Rewind. For Blood Rain, you simply read it after Dokgo Rewind, it's a bit of a skip in time as we see a lot of flashbacks of scenes with Kang Hyuk that we've never seen in the series so far. Then right there's Dokgo 2, which is the, if I'm not wrong, prequel to Blood Rain, before Hyuk starts working with the cops. So, you have to read them in this order, me I have, and it doesn't make it in any way confusing. If you haven't on of the "parts" mentionned here, then do read it.
Hopefully I was able to help, have a nice day/night.
Dokgo Rewind -> Dokgo (season 1) -> Dokgo (season 2) -> Dokgo (season 3)
Tong Memories -> Tong (season 1) -> Tong (season 2) -> Tong (season 3)
Blood Rain (seasons 1-3) is the sequel to both the Tong and Dokgo series.
Dokgo (season 2) is ongoing, so it's not clear how long this season will be. Dokgo (season 3) as well as Blood Rain (seasons 2-3) are scheduled and not in the works right now.
Thanks for the info'. I guess, I just read them in their order of creation. And, thanks a lot for clearing up where Blood Rain sits in this series, because I had no idea.
Where do you think Tong Edge ( http://m.toomics.com/webtoon/episode/toon/4636) is supposed to be, I was thinking it's probably after Tong Season 3, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.
I'm not exactly sure if the author of the series wrote that (that and Dokgo Flower which is similar to Dokgo Rewind but from Han Sol's point of view). The art isn't the same as Baek Seung Hoon's (for either one), so I usually don't include it in the series order. But I would place it after Tong (season 3) or at the same time as Tong (season 3) because the events somewhat line up with it.
Yeah, I’ll try and look into them a bit more someday, I simply understood that they are kind of “side stories”.
Well, I was wondering if you knew any other series like Dokgo/Tong/Blood Rain, that you could recommend to me. Series with a lot of dept, they don’t need multiple parts, but something really catchy. I’m running low on comics, or books in general, lately. Thanks for replying.
There is one artist, I can say, I wish was more known, at least towards an english speaking audience, Kim Seongmo (김성모), that guy as made so many works. And, sadly none of his works have been translated, he’s definitely a genius. Since my knowledge in languages is shortened to French and English I can’t read them. Maybe you won’t like his works, but you should check him out, or maybe you already know him. I would love if someone translated at least one of his stories, because wow, I like the humor and the characters he created over the years and how he learns and becomes a better artist.
This is the story I’m currently reading from him; http://m.toomics.com/webtoon/episode/toon/3627
Entertaining, even without the whole story in your mind. I hope I was able to show you something new and that it’s worth it.
Hi, could someone please explain to me how is this going...I' m little confused...I thought that 1. is Dokgo and then Blood and Rain. Does that mean Dokgo is first, Dokgo 2 is second and Blood and Rain is third season of Dokgo story? Thanks ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
