One day, a beautiful human psychic called Elisa told the racist and prejudiced elf prince Norden about a vision she had that someone of her bloodline would one day destroy him. The elf prince tried to prevent this once by destroying the Elisa's entire human village and killing all of her family, except for her brother, the human psychic Elis, who who wasn't there at the time. Years later, Norden found out that Elisa's one surviving brother had managed to father a half-human and half-elf son, Taavi, so Norden's new objective became to also find and kill Taavi in orden to fully prevent the late Elisa's curse from ever coming true. Taavi, the mc who is half-human and half elf, grew up on the run from Norden and never met his mother as he was raised solely by his father while they were hiding from him (though Taavi doesn't know about the elf prince). Meanwhile, a new "international" and multi-racial association called "the peacemakers" began punishing kingdoms that mistreated and enslaved hybrids like Taavi. To appease the peacemakers, Norden and his father, the king of the elf kingdom of Vetrel, were forced to pretend to collaborate with them. So Norden took on a red haired human boy, Venier, as his apprentice, with the alleged promise of turning him into a good soldier for the organization. However, in Norden's kingdom hybrids still continued to be covertly mistreated and sold as slaves. One day Taavi's father died and Taavi was forced to flee the village they lived in, but ended up getting kidnapped and imprisoned by a group of hybrid-hating pure-blooded elves, who kept him confined for a long while, tortured him and starved him half to death. Norden for his part secretly started to fall inlove with his human apprentice, the now teenaged Venier. Venier for a while dated the black-haired wizard Nox, but eventually left him to follow his master, Norden. Nox, however, began working for an elf Queen who ruled Oceania, the elf kingdom next to Norden's, and who unlike Norden and his father whole-heartedly supported the peacemakers and their cause for the rights of hybrids. When Taavi was already a teenager, the prison he was in was raided by a race of enemies of the elves called the winged men, and Taavi was freed by one of them, the long-haired winged guy called Raskin, who secretly fell inlove with him. However, Raskin's superior, the winged guy general Arkros, took Taavi for his own and made him his sex slave. Meanwhile, Venier's former lover, the wizard Nox, came and hired Arkros to attack one of prince Norden's fortresses in order to steal a mysterious black box. Arkros managed to steal it after a difficult confrontation with Venier, but while Arkros was away, Raskin took advantage of his absence and took Taavi from Arkros's home, leaving him in the desert and briving a human wizard merchant, Khedri, to take Taavi as far from Arkros' town as possible. Taavi ended up learning the truth and distrusting Khedri, abandoning him in order to go board a ship to safety somewhere else, to Oceania (the kingdom that thruthfully supported the cause for the rights of hybrids). On the same ship, he bumped into Nox (Venier's former lover) and accidentally became possessed by a red spirit who'd been trapped in the mysterious black box that Nox had previously hired Arkros to steal from Norden. And let's see where this all goes...
Thank you for taking the time to write all of this down, it really made the plot and the motives behind majority of the characters a lot clearer. ^ - ^
Thanks for this detailed explanation. I follow the story but I was lost in the plot, hoping I would get it in the end. I want to know what becomes of the connection between Taavi and Raskin. And I have mixed feelings for Norden. I know I am not supposed to like him but ...

I know how you feel. I thought that he is a funny charector. I never thought at first he turned out to be a murderer. Conflicted feeling. Should I hate him?
