Could depend on custody rights. If you aren't supporting the child then you have no rights to see the child. For some reason the mom doesn't want them to see one another and was only doing it once a month before because of legal reasons.
you're not alone. It's the same for me. It's clear dad uke is lonely and that what he may have with sakaki is dependence brought by loneliness but some fruitful relationships stem from that too. It looks like they will continue to have a prosperous relationship.
What bothers me still is why he cannot see his son until the boy decides to or when he's of age. I don't know how the legality of things work but I'm left thinking there might have been something more cruel and tragic than just "neglecting" them because of work. I know it's just fiction but if there is something in the story that the creator doesn't intend for their readers to dwell on with reservations, i think that needs to be resolved.
I also found the custody arrangement strange. I understand they didn't have joint custody, where the child lives with each parent part time, but once a month then not at all seemed extreme. Then again he didn't really fight for the right to see his son, so maybe it is best that way. Biological parents aren't always the best parents.

It seem so weird and kinda cruel to the poor kid. So i was upset about that therefore I couldn't enjoy the love conclusion of the second couple.
