my yaoi life

He's my Bias December 17, 2017 2:12 pm

when I first discovered there was such thing as BL and yaoi, Junjou Romantica was my first ever anime. I fell in love with the simple everyday plot line, and fell even harder for Usagi san. I have watched and rewatched the anime, and when I discovered I could read the comic for free here on manage, I felt so elated and happy. Thank you for publishing it here on this site!!!!!

I like this manga more than I like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. People ALWAYS get angry at me for that. But here are my reasons. 1: Even though the updates take forever, we see waaaay more character development with Misaki than we do with Onodera. 2: although I know they've done the whole love triangle thing in the past, they're focusing on a really important issue right now, which is trying to be accepted by Takahiro. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi on the other hand, really won't cut it out with the love triangles. We had that whole thing with Haitani first (which was FINE btw) and then they had to add Nao to the bunch. I was really hoping that Onodera had a friend that didn't have to be in love with anyone (Kinda like Todo). 3: there where a lot more scenes in this that made me feel. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi had a lot of amazing scenes as well, but I feel Junjou has had more memorable ones. The Library scene, the Cemetery scene, the scene where Misaki first said "I love you", the scene where he rejects Haruhiko, and my favorite, the most recent scene where Misaki told his sister-in-law about him and Usagi-san. I really really really love Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and there are a ton of thing I love about it. In fact, there are some things about that I do like better than Junjou. But over all, Junjou Romantica is better in my personal opinion. And not everyone has to agree with me

Exactly!! And same here, I had always preferred Junjou Romantica over Sekaiichi hatsukoi. It's just.. with that many love triangles and how the couple always remain intact after everything I just have to applaud them and walk away from the drama...

Me too. I also experienced the same thing and felt the same way

Yeah I feel like although Junjou had several love triangles, they've really only had two specific ones. Ijuuin and Haruhiko. The thing with Sumi didn't last very long luckily. But Hatsukoi, they got a million LONG LASTING love triangles. Yokozawa, Yuu, An, Haitani, and now Nao. I'm sorry, that's too many. I still really like this manga and I look forward to each update, but I wish they would change it up a bit. Still would recommend this to people as we'll. Its really fun to read.
