I think some do, and others don't. It's a stereotype, but people live up to it. But I've seen people on tumblr do the same thing except with lesbians? lmao- It just depends on the person really.

Yeah. It totally does. Like I don’t do that, I just enjoy the stories, but like I’ve seen other people do it. It happens a lot.

I think a lot of fujoshis do take it way too far and only see gay men as a porn category. When I was in high school there were several girls who would act super creepy around my gay male friend, called his relationships yaoi, call anything involving gay romance "sinful" and were very obviously obsessed with gay male sex to the point where they wouldn't watch a show if there weren't male characters they could ship and draw pornographic fanart of. It's pretty sick when you think about it. Gay people, including lesbians, are ridiculously sexualized, and our relationships are rarely portrayed outside of the realm of porn. I still love yaoi because I love homosexual romance, but it's hard to forget that the vast majority of yaoi is porn for heterosexual women.

It's from Tumblr. A lot of triggered bitches live there 24/7. Let them say whatever they want. As long as you, a fujoshi, know what you're doing is not anything like what they say then keep reading yaoi.

Well, this assumption is based on an easy habit called generalization. It's something we all have done. You see there are certainly some people who read yaoi and start putting the fictional into real life and we have no clue if it's a lot or not a lot since we lack stats.

Anyway, some of the people who see these actions, this may have a negative reaction causing them to generalize seeing the illusion/fallacy that ALL people that read yaoi are like this.
A little after note, of course, behavior like applying fictional to reality that some people have is very easy to correct as long as you remain calm and take the time to explain to them. Some of these people are younger in high school or late elementary, swearing and cursing aren't going to change anything, they won't learn from that, they'll just yell at you back getting distracted by your anger.
Unless the goal is to satisfy your own personal anger then good on you I guess...

It's just a part of this community. Similar to kpop fangirls, some of them are just too ignorant and selfish that they even harm their biased idols. There's no limit on age and gender hence you can see a lot of different people who share same interest. We can just hate the toxic people and educate them when they appear online/offline.
