Curious kill the cat

I heard a story from World War II where a family was hiding someone the nazis were looking for. When they realized the nazis were coming, they warned them and they left. The nazis looked around their house for the persons and then the officer asked the kid if there were any guests. He said: "there were some guests but they left a long time ago". After the nazis left the parents asked their son why he said it was a long time ago. He answered: "everyone knows time goes different for kids than for adults". (⌒▽⌒)
